How to find us
The Empathy Project has two counselling rooms located at
1 Canute Road, Ocean Village, Southampton, SO14 3FH

There is free parking on site, located behind the building opposite the student flats. Please use any free, unmarked parking space.
​
Please note that unfortunately our rooms are located upstairs and the building does not have a lift. Therefore this may restrict access to people with mobility issues or who are wheelchair users.
You can still access counselling through us through remote sessions. We apologise for any inconvenience and we hope to have an accessible space one day!
Coming to your first session?
Amazing! We know that coming to your first counselling session might feel daunting, and your counsellor will be there to help you on the day.

We ask that you please do not arrive early to your appointment, as some of our other valued clients may be leaving their sessions, and we work hard to protect everyone's privacy and confidentiality.
​
Your counsellor will be downstairs to meet you by the front door at the time of your appointment. If you are running late for any reason, they will then call you from a withheld number after 5 to 10 minutes.

Please note that our administration team work core business hours Monday to Thursday and may not be able to take your call. Please see the photos and map below to help guide you to us!
